Another event I attended during Philly Beer Week was a beer and chocolate pairing at Iron Hill West Chester. Head brewer Larry Horwitz was on hand to pour his wonderful Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout along side some fantastic chocolates from Éclat Chocolate.
Beer and ice cream — a match made in heaven… at least, in my opinion. I’ve had a few raised eyebrows thrown my way when I’ve mentioned beer ice cream. But it works, I swear!
My last two pairing articles were very beef-centric, so I thought it might be time to move on to poultry. Turkey, to be exact.
